"Everything Must Go" Opens; Great Reviews

  

This May, Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions released the dark comedy 'Everything Must Go' in 220 theatres throughout the country. It received very strong reviews and buzz for Will Ferrell who does a serious turn playing an alcoholic who relapses and loses his wife and job on the same day. In an attempt to start over, he holds a yard sale on his front lawn.

Dan Rush writes and directs the film based on the Raymond Carver short story “Why Don’t You Dance?” Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (Twilight) produce. Rebecca Hall, Laura Dern, Michael Pena, Glenn Howerton, Christopher Jordan Wallace and Scott Takeda round out the cast.

The film premiered at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival where it received huge acclaim and distribution. It later played to sell-out crowds at the 2010 London Film Festival and the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. After a seven-week run, the film grossed more than $2.6 million domestically.
