philosophy & bio (continued)

Audiences crave stories that are genuine and involve people. That’s because sharing stories is an essential part of our humanity. It has been since the days of cave drawings. Stories are what unite us and give our lives meaning and purpose.

I'm passionate about telling stories with emotional impact because it’s harder than ever to reach and affect an audience. Genuine People Stories cut through the clutter. Whether I’m interpreting great creative ideas and pairing them with global brands like Cadillac, or I’m directing a film, I want to reveal powerful, honest moments. Every story. Every time.

I created this entertainment company as a platform to work in different mediums and to express my passion for storytelling. This passion began as a still photojournalist, learning how to tell a story with one image. Then I became a TV journalist and honed my storytelling skills with moving images. Later I moved to nationally syndicated programming where I spent three seasons crafting stories for News For Kids. Then I applied my Genuine People Story philosophy to client work as an executive producer for CBS-4 Sales (Denver). I created their commercial production unit and saw how my brand of telling stories with emotional impact could motivate audiences to buy. In the late 90's, I took my Genuine People Stories philosophy on the road – opening my own business. I began specializing in producing award-winning TV commercials, high-end corporate videos, and a special type of storytelling I call corporate documentaries – using documentary film techniques to motivate corporate audiences to respond and react. Now I’m working in TV/Film. As a director, I love this medium for the freedom it gives me to tell narrative stories. And as an actor, I've discovered this is the most intimate way to reveal the human experience.

On the personal side, I am happily married and a proud dad of two Welsh Corgi puppies. In my downtime, I am writing a book titled The Search for Thor based on a spiritual sabbatical I took through Asia-Pacific. I also play trumpet and serve on several boards. And I always stop to smell the roses.
