The New York Festivals recently announced their list of Finalists for their 2020 International Film and Television competition. It includes the creative team from Takeda Entertainment, Inc. for a short narrative film titled “Remembering Us.” The film was produced in partnership with Wine Dog Pictures, LLC.

“Our cast and crew are celebrating,” said co-director Scott Takeda. “The New York Festivals is one of the highest honors in our business. The other Finalists include HBO, Walt Disney Company, ESPN, and the BBC – the leaders in our television/film industry.  It really is an honor to be nominated with this group. We look forward to finding out the winners later in the year.”

All Finalists will go through a medal round of judging and the WorldMedal winners will be announced at the virtual NAB Conference later in the year.

The creative team includes long-time collaborator Lori Kay Allred, who co-wrote and co-directed the film with Takeda, Dave Klein (cinematographer), Brian De Herrera-Schnering (colorist), Jerome Gilmer (music composer), and Zlatko Makic (sound editor). The film stars Mike Ostroski (“Breaking Bad”), Dani Payne (CBS’s “Interrogation,”) and Nev Scharrel (“Despicable Me 3.”)

We have been a frequent winner at the New York Festivals, winning a Gold WorldMedal, three Silver World Medals; two Bronze WorldMedals, and four additional Finalist selections.
